Our mission at the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center is to preserve and protect our region’s native wildlife by providing rehabilitation services and education to raise public awareness of the factors that threaten its abundance and diversity.

The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center depends upon volunteers for a wide variety of tasks. And, because the animals depend on us for their very existence, we do ask for a serious commitment from our volunteers.

Each year we are able to receive and give aid to over 10,000 callers regarding Long Island wildlife. We also provide educational programs to local elementary and secondary schools. All of this is possible because of the generosity of people like you. Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
